Packing for Business in Winter
I take one suit, usually navy, another pair of suit pants – usually grey. These three pieces make up the bones of my travel wardrobe. I then add 6 blouses/tops to wear with the suit and pants, giving me plenty of combinations across a two week trip for any scenario – formal meetings, casual meetings, coffee, dinner etc. I also take one pair of heels and one pair of dressy flats for days when I can’t wear heels any longer!
For off-duty wear, I take a pair of black stretch pants and a pair of jeans with one warm jumper and two thinner jumpers and a casual trench coat. I add another pair of flats that are extra comfy and capable of walking for miles.
All of my combinations can be warmed up by simply adding a heattec camisole or long sleeve thermal for extra warmth. You’ve heard it before, but, layering is the key.
